Born in Buffalo, NY, this exceptional showman and artist is endowed with an outstanding musical sensibility. Pianist and singer with a mind boggling repertoire covering from boogie to blues to jazz and with s long and prestigious career, Al Copley played in 1978 with the original Blues Brothers, John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd, then founded the group Roomful of Blues and in the '80s he was for two consecutive years a Grammy Award Nominee in the "Best Traditional Blues" category. He played in the finest rooms of the world, opening for stars like Eric Clapton, B.B. King and Bob Dylan and playing with musicians of the caliber of Ruth Brown, Jimmy Witherspoon, John Hammond, Big Mama Thornton, Otis Rush, Big Walter Horton, Benny Waters, Scott Hamilton, Roy "Good Rockin" Brown.
