After gaining critical acclaim in the 1980s as an original cast member and vocal arranger of off Broadway hit "One mo' time", Topsy Chapman toured the world performing gospel, traditional jazz, and Dixieland. Rooted in gospel and a real icon of New Orleans vocal jazz she has recorded with artists such as Willie Humphrey, Chester Zardis, Geoff Bull, Louie Nelson, Fred Coleman, Orange Kellin, and many more. Topsy has performed at various Democratic Conventions and for Queen Elizabeth, she has furthermore appeared in various TV shows. She has received rave reviews in Time magazine, the New York Times, the New York Post, Variety, etc.
