HSLU Big Band feat. MISS C-LINE: youthful energy and soul for JazzAscona 2026

The jazz ensemble of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, directed by David Grottschreiber, will be present at JazzAscona with a special project that combines the power of a big band with a voice that JazzAscona audiences already loved last year: MISS C‑LINE. Made up of musicians in training, the HSLU Big Band features a repertoire ranging from jazz tradition to the most contemporary big band literature. The ensemble also collaborates with renowned musicians such as Ron Carter and Richard Bona. The encounter with MISS C-LINE — the young singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, and a rising figure on the Swiss neo-soul scene — promises great creativity, original writing and high-energy live performances. This year MISS C-LINE is nominated for the Swiss Music Award.
