The Soul of Rock’n’Roll and Swing: Parisian artist JayCee will bring electrifying DJ sets

JayCee, a passionate dancer and artist from Paris, brings to JazzAscona all his love for swing and Rock’n’Roll. When he steps behind the decks he knows exactly what dancers want: to be surprised, moved, and infected by his “music of happiness.” For him, Rock’n’Roll is a way of life that embraces the sounds, aesthetics, and spirit of the 1940s and ’50s. JayCee is deeply familiar with dance floors and their energy: his journey has grown through dance, teaching, international festivals, books, music productions, and radio. On July 3 and 4 he will make Ascona vibrate with two high-energy DJ sets celebrating the authentic essence of rhythm, Rock’n’Roll, and Swing. On Saturday, July 4, during the Dancing Hours, he will also host a Gentle Jive dance class.
