Jazz Point Trio: a tribute to jazz guitar

In the history of jazz, the guitar has long held a central place. The bands in which it plays a leading role are countless, but alongside large ensembles, duos that have made history for their refined intensity have also emerged. Just think of Joe Pass with Herb Ellis, Tal Farlow with Lenny Breau, Jim Hall with Pat Metheny, Jimmy Raney with Doug Raney, to name just a few. The Jazz Point Trio with guitarists Gianluca Sala and Stefano Romerio, joined by Alex Orciari on double bass, will revive this tradition, reinterpreting some pieces from the great jazz repertoire with sensitivity and personality.
