Tulane BAM: students from the prestigious New Orleans University in Ascona

With the support of the City of New Orleans’ Embrace the Culture initiative, a fruitful direct collaboration between JazzAscona and the prestigious Tulane University of New Orleans is once again taking shape. A band of young students attending courses at Tulane with professors Ashlin Parker, Jesse McBride, and Jim Markque will be in Ascona as part of Groovin’ Up, the artistic-educational project entirely dedicated to young bands, offering them the opportunity to perform live in Ascona with the aim of promoting their talent and supporting their artistic and professional development.
